In the past century, not every Hong Kong lady could afford to buy imported cosmetics.

Mr. Fung gauged well for the local cosmetics market. He founded HK's first cosmetics brand in 1898 - Kwong Sang Tong (Two Girls) which collected many generations memories as an affordable and reputable cosmetics brand.

The best selling “Four Kings” are florida water, hair oil, snow cream and talcum powder. The florida scent reminds me about my granny smell, a classic Hong Kong scent that is slowly fading away.

Aside from the scents, the design of the two sisters in cheongsam was inspired by two angels who caught Mr Fung's attention at the Central district. This was how the nostalgia ranges of the calendars and posters were curated later on. A style that exudes the strong Hong Kong identity and successfully positions a legendary #madeinhk souvenirs.
