Who named instant noodles "doll noodles" in Hong Kong?
In 1960s, Doll Noodles was Hong Kong's first instant noodle brand. The three-minute cooking was quickly a hit with Hong Kongers.
There were many instant noodle brands that tried to intervene and compete, many still chose to call instant noodles as "doll noodles" because "doll" is a symbol of solicitation.
Originally produced by Winner Food HK, their unique selling point is the sauce pack, which is considered to be healthier and more natural than the soup powder. Nissin acquired the company later due to its popularity.
